Insurance
After six months of employment, Family Express® provides life, health, and dental insurance to employees working 35 hours or more per week. Major Medical is provided by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Coverage may include employees and/or dependents; a significant portion of the premiums are paid for by Family Express®.
Health Fitness Center Membership
To promote the enjoyment of life outside the work environment, as well as to contribute to the well being of our employees, Family Express® has invested in a state of the art Fitness Center located in the corporate office for all employees to use at a minimum monthly cost. For those that live outside a 50 mile radius of the corporate office Family Express will reimburse up to $100 of any health/fitness membership, with proof of membership. Employees who have been with Family Express® and with a health/fitness facility for one year qualify for this benefit.
401-K Retirement Plan
After one year of employment, employees may enroll in a pre-tax retirement plan in which they may contribute up to 100% of their annual gross income not to exceed $16,500. Family Express® generously matches .50 cents on the dollar up to 6% of an employee’s annual gross income. Enrollment takes place on a monthly basis.
Employee Purchase Plan
Throughout the year, full-time and part-time employees, who have met service requirements, have the opportunity to participate in employee contests, with the opportunity to win cash and prizes.
