Family Express Cares

Hello to our communities

We’re much more than just a convenience store, we are a neighborhood destination, building relationships with every family that walks through our doors, which is why we find it essential to give back to the people of Northwest and North Central Indiana who support us.

We are serious about our mission to, “serve our community through volunteerism…” This principle guides our action and allows us to embrace community projects, fundraisers and causes that improve the lives of thousands of people each year.  Whether it’s supporting summer reading programs across northern Indiana, the Folds of Honor organization which provides care to families of lost or injured soldiers or providing water to various Relay for Life walks, you’ll find us embedded throughout the communities we serve.

In the last 18 months, our associates have supported more than 500 different organizations across Northwest and North Central Indiana.  For a full list of these organizations, click here.  If you wish to request a donation please call 219-462-0144 or email mkamaski@familyexpress.com

"Thank you for your continued support of our reading program. Your company really makes a difference in the lives of these kids. They so need this encouragement. I can’t fully express how wonderful it is to be able to provide them with this reward."

Valplayso Rebuild

In 2014, the community of Valparaiso came together to rebuild Valplayso, a park that has meant more than we can say to the Family Express family.  We were in a unique position to assist with a $250,000 monetary donation as well as by supporting the workers with food and beverages while they worked.  What an amazing project!

The Boys & Girls Club

Providing support to the future of the communities we serve

Over the last several years, we have been honored to provide support to Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the region.  We strongly believe in providing the children in our communities with every opportunity possible.  To show our commitment, we sponsor soccer and basketball teams, donate to the annual golf outings and bike rides and share a meal with the kids at the annual Steak & Burger dinner.  This is just a small token of our appreciation for the support we have received from the community from the day we opened our first store.
